SFS – a decade of service in the pest control industry Hiraman Rathod, a postgraduate in agriculture with more than three decades of pest control industry experience, established Seva Facility Services (SFS) Private Limited in March 2016. His wife, Kalpana Rathod and son, Himanshu Rathod, assisted him in managing SFS and expanding its offerings and reach.
SFS provides pest control services to residential, commercial and industrial customers. It also provides water tank cleaning, housekeeping and security services and has served over 25,000 customers since its inception. The Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage of the Government of India’s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has accredited SFS for fumigation using aluminium phosphide (NSPM 22) and methyl bromide (NSPM 11 and 12). SFS also has accreditation to the ISPM International Standard for treating wooden packing material for exports and by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) to fumigate export consignments to Australia. The SFS head office is in Pune, and it provides services to customers from that office and branches in Mumbai, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nagpur, Belgaum, Indore, Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Byadagi and Bhopal.
